What Are Safety Coveralls?

A safety coverall is a one-piece suit that covers the body from neck to ankle. It protects workers and their clothes from dirt, oil, sparks, heat, dust and chemicals.

In Oman, coveralls are standard body protection on oil fields, construction sites, ports and factories. Many contractors make them compulsory under their HSE rules, along with safety helmets and safety shoes.

Types of Coveralls We Offer

1. Cotton Coveralls

Our most popular range. 100% cotton is soft, breathable and comfortable in Oman's heat. The fabric is sanforized, mercerized and pre-shrunk, so it keeps its size and colour after many washes.

Coveralls for Oman's Key Industries

Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals Operators and contractors usually require FR coveralls with reflective tape on site. Our Safeguard C and Pyroxel models meet EN ISO 11612, 11611 and 14116. Complete the kit with gas detectors and safety boots.

Construction and Infrastructure Road, building and utility projects across Muscat and the regions need tough, breathable coveralls. Cotton coveralls with hi-vis tape are the most common choice, worn with safety jackets, helmets and road safety equipment.

Ports, Shipping and Marine Crews at Sohar, Duqm and Salalah ports work in heat, salt and humidity. Poly-cotton and cotton coveralls handle frequent washing well.

Mining and Heavy Equipment Operators and mechanics need heavy fabric that resists wear. The 270 GSM Comfort-C is built for this.

Workshops and Fabrication Welders need FR coveralls with heat resistant gloves and eye & face protection. Mechanics and fitters can use cotton coveralls with mechanics gloves.

Food, Pharma and Clean Areas Disposable coveralls keep products clean and are thrown away after use. Pair them with disposable gloves and surgical & dust masks.

How to Choose the Right Coverall

Ask these five questions before you buy:

  1. What is the hazard? Fire or sparks → FR. Dust or spray → disposable. Dirt and oil → cotton.
  2. How hot is the site? For Oman summers above 45°C, choose 155–210 GSM cotton for general work.
  3. Does your site require a standard? Check your HSE rules for EN ISO 11612 or NFPA 2112.
  4. Is visibility important? Add reflective tape for road, port and night work.
  5. What size? Measure chest and height. Coveralls should fit slightly loose for movement.

Colours and Sizes

  • Colours: navy blue, royal blue, petrol blue, orange, red, khaki, green, grey, white, yellow

Many companies pick colours by role, for example orange for field crews and navy for supervisors.

Coverall Care Tips

  • Wash cotton and FR coveralls at 40–60°C
  • Do not use bleach or fabric softener on FR coveralls – they can reduce protection
  • Replace FR coveralls with holes, burns or heavy oil soaking
  • Disposable coveralls are single-use – do not wash or reuse
